A,B,C… Marquez! tries to answer the question: what is the role of typography in a brand identity? We explored how a typeface can become a defining element of a brand, and how it conveys or fails to convey the brand’s values, whether through custom type commissions, redesigns, or the use of existing typefaces.
All of this analysis is presented in an editorial object designed as an archive file with precise layout markers to help readers navigate the chapters. With the interviews of Cléo Charuet, Karl Saffré, Christophe Badani, Matthieu Cortat, Violaine & Jérémy, and Aaron Levin to enrich our research. Made with Valentin Bousquet.
