Maya Moki

Maya Moki is a mochi brand and distributor created by Michelin-starred chef Akrame Benallal. The challenge was to craft a concept that feels pop and playful, yet elevated. We ended up creating a brand image both delightful and approachable while reflecting the refined nature of the chef’s creations.

We developed a colorful and rhythmic identity inspired by the iconic mochi shape, present in the logotype’s counterforms, the mascot and the overall graphic system. The sophistication of a sharp, angular serif balances the playful, rounded elements.
