Skylab

Inspired by André Malraux's essay Le Musée imaginaire, which explores art history by associations and confrontations, Skylab embraces the concept developed in the essay. This book appropriates this idea to offer a personal interpretation of an imaginary museum as an invitation to create everyone’s unique one.

This work brings together found images and proclaimed masterpieces, associating NASA archives with works selected by Malraux through the development of a research system. Skylab aims to question the image through different mediums and content diffusion ways, allowing to wonder about the artwork in its environment.
